Prairie Pugs 2006 Review

A great time was had by all. We are still waiting for a final Pug count but it was a lot of food starved ones if you ask me.
They had Pug-Olympics and, spur of the moment, I decided to throw my hat into the ring. I did okay.
I got a congratulatory email from the fast fox of a pug named Paris.

So I’ve been away for a bit… I’m just getting ready for the 2006 Spring Fling with Prairie Pugs. Here are a few pics of what I’ve been up to and how I get ready for a wild and crazy day it’s going to be:
Sadie Irene Dressler (Rest In Peace Original Prairie Pug)

It is with sadness in my heart to report the passing of Sadie Irene Dressler, The Original Prairie Pug. While under anesthesia for a dental procedure, she did not recover. There is a great article celebrating her life in the recent issue of Prairie Pug Tales (January-February 2006).
Please keep Sadie in your hearts and prayers. As a fellow Pug, my thanks go to the Dressler’s – the wonderful people who do such great work allowing so many Pugs from lesser homes to babysit them until they can find much better homes.
I would also like to use this as an opportunity to remind all of you to register for the 2006 Spring Fling:

If you would like to volunteer your assistance in any way, check the appropriate box on the RSVP form. We are in need of help with parking, registration, judges, and anything
that will assist us in having a good Spring Fling.
Don’t forget to bring your camera, lawn chairs, and of course your covered dish. Hot dogs, buns, beverages, plates and utensils are provided.

Wednesday, June 8, 2005 10:54 PM – So, I know that it’s been awhile and the site has been unavailable…BLAME DAD! He did it. My paws and my woofs can only do so much (like beg for food). I think we have this thing figured out so expect more updates than before. If you would like to read the month of April, please feel free to click on the left side…should take you to the archive.
Well, since we last spoke, I got to go see a bunch of my siblings at Prairie Pugs Spring Fling 2005…I’ll try to get the pics up on this site shortly. As always, a great organization to support as they help the less fortunate of us pugs!
While I get the site back in working order, here’s a pic to tide you over:
You wouldn’t believe the injustice! They were giving pieces of hotdogs to other pugs and not to me. Sounds like someone needs to learn to share!
