Just Hanging Around
Posted by Norm The Pug in Pictures on January 30th, 2006
I guess Mom decided to turn over the bathroom madness to my good friend, Jim. Pictures of the end result will follow.
Wanted to post a few pics of me just hanging in there the other day. That’s me…just hanging in there.

So, Mom got the great idea to redo the bathroom this weekend…What’d'ya think of the job she did?

Itchy Paw Pug
Posted by Norm The Pug in General on January 25th, 2006
I’m just an itchy paw pug. I got itchy paws and I really don’t know why, either. It wakes me up in the middle of the night and all I can do is lick them – which seems to really bother Mom and Dad. Haven’t been able to figure out what is causing it so if anybody has any ideas, please let me know.
UPDATE: I have had a bath (much to my dismay) and that washing of the paws didn’t seem to help much. Still looking for ideas. I think I’m going to the vet sometime soon – not sure how I feel about that, but as long as they can stop the itching…

Pug Dogs and a new issue of Prairie Pug Tales
Posted by Norm The Pug in General on January 24th, 2006
Got a new issue of Prairie Pug Tales the other day and finally had the time to digest it…no, I didn’t eat it. Though, there are some good articles on holiday safety for us, your pets! I know, I know…as much as I enjoy eating, I am recommending you get a copy of the November/December 2005 issue of Prairie Pug Tales to make sure we, the rulers of the house, are taken good care of going forward. You get a subscription by clicking on the banner on the left of the website…about half way down!
Also want to congratulate Prairie Pugs for rescuing 53 Pugs last year – up from 34 the year prior. Take a moment and send ‘em a buck!
Also, wanted to post this picture of two weiner dogs! Saw this a couple years back and was resent it by a great friend the other day…wanted to share it with all! Doesn’t the mustard one look a lot like me?

Pictures in Progress

So, there have been a lot of compliments about the new look to the site but a lot of griping that the pictures are gone…Well, I’m trying to make updating the site easier and, at the moment, the pictures are turning out to be quite a bear! I’m working on getting them back up but it looks like it might be a very tedious process! Be patient, I don’t have opposable thumbs…
Charles is Bored!

Over on Charles and Chester’s site, it appears that Charles is bored…

I can strike that same pose…I just say I’m sittin’ on my throne…

MY Throne!

Ok…
Rule #1: When I am ready to go to bed, the bed must already be made! Furthermore, no covering me with the duvet. I do not like this.
Rule #2: The new green chair is mine.
Rule #3: Do not sit on me in my new green chair.
Rule #4: Yes, your lap is the perfect place to chew my chippee.
Rule #5: When I honor you by sitting on your lap, it is NOT common courtesy to tuck my tail underneath me. It is curled upwards for a reason.
Rule #6: No, I don’t mind.
This is an abbreviated list with additional rules to be stated as necessary.
Monsters under the Couch!
Posted by Norm The Pug in General on January 11th, 2006
I swear that there are things from beyond hiding under SueSue’s couch! I tried and tried to warn Mommy and SueSue today, but that villain hid when Mommy went to check out the situation.
Have no fear, I kept an eye on him ALL DAY, making sure he (the dust bunny) could not sneak out and get us. Let’s just say he’s trapped under 50 pounds of springs and stuffing!
And you people wonder what I do all day at work! This is why I need so much sleep! It’s a lot of work being this good at being the best guard dog.
