Just wanted to share a pic of my vette (being driven by Grandpa Maxon) at the Topeka St. Patty’s Day Parade – yes, that is Baby Jay with him!

Why Women Live Longer than Men

Got a wonderfully funny email from niftygraphics the other day and wanted to share the pictures.

P.s. Being in a chain email, I cannot imagine that these are copyrighted, so, if they are yours and you can reasonably prove ownership, I’ll be happy to remove yours.

My Town!

Grandpa and Grandma Maxon wanted me to let everyone know that they passed through a town named AFTER me, yesterday: Norman, OK!

Sleepy

Had to share these photos that Mom took of me sleeping last night. What? It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it!

Sadie Irene Dressler (Rest In Peace Original Prairie Pug)

It is with sadness in my heart to report the passing of Sadie Irene Dressler, The Original Prairie Pug. While under anesthesia for a dental procedure, she did not recover. There is a great article celebrating her life in the recent issue of Prairie Pug Tales (January-February 2006).

Please keep Sadie in your hearts and prayers. As a fellow Pug, my thanks go to the Dressler’s – the wonderful people who do such great work allowing so many Pugs from lesser homes to babysit them until they can find much better homes.

I would also like to use this as an opportunity to remind all of you to register for the 2006 Spring Fling:

I must have missed this issue

I wish they’d tell me when they do a caricature of me and put it on the cover of The New Yorker. Unfortunately, even though it’s my image (well, a little chubby, if you ask me – and remember, with my gray hair, I’m always right!), I can’t post an actual image of the cover due to copyright laws, so just click here.

ALERT! ALERT!

An update on my beautiful aging process: MORE GRAY HAIRS! Who ever thought of getting older? I guess this is just another sign of my experience and wisdom – more proof I know what I’m talking about!

Poppa and SueSue are BACK!!!

I’m SOOOOO excited! I got to see Poppa and SueSue, yesterday, who have returned from their (way too long, if you ask me) stay in Florida!

Finally, more people to manage! And, more cookies from Poppa! (It’s his reward for a good day of work to give me cookies!)
