So, I got this email about a month ago and I have been researching it quite a bit. For one thing, I’m trying to find the dog that upset this cat soooo much. (If this is from Polly, I’m sorry.) Here’s the text:

Dear Dog…

I am soooo sorry about you being sent to the dog pound for the broken lamp which you did not break; the fish you did not spill; the carpet that you did not wet; or the wall that you did not dirty with red paint…

But things here at the house really are calmer now, and just to show you that there are no hard Feelings between us, I am sending you a picture, so you will always remember me.

Since when did “playing” involve getting bitten on the head?

So, Grandpa and Grandma Fortin are being very generous, right now, taking in a lost puppy (queen of the house?). The other night we were chewing on some bones and I thought I’d go over she how she liked her bone (maybe she would need some help…). Let’s just say the next thing I remember, we are both yelling at each other and my head and neck are in her mouth…

I’m looking forward to Clara finding a good home and… Yeah, let’s just leave it at that.
